From Engineer to Ironworker
I hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent my career, starting in 2005, in industrial project management — where quality of work and customer service weren't just goals, they were the job. Understanding what a customer expects and then striving to meet or exceed it is how I've always measured success.
Starting my own company had been a dream for years, and the closure of the chemical plant where I'd built my career gave me the push to make it real. Rather than relocate our family and keep working for someone else, we chose the risk and challenge of self-employment. That leap became Carpe Diem Iron.
